Hello! My name is Jeremy and I enjoy creating things that live on the Internet. After working in IT industry for 3 years as a Software Support Engineer, I decided to change my career path to full stack development, which attracts me by its fast-paced and ever-changing nature.
In the past few months, I have built a few team and individual full stack projects, which showcasing my ability to adapt and learn new skills and technologies.
Apart from technical skills, I also bring with me a lot of transferable soft skills from my previous role, such as project management, communication with clients and team members, and engineering decision making, which proved to be very useful in working environment involving multiple stakeholders.

Full Stack Developer
2022 - 2023
- In project FotoPie, I built frontend components and pages using Next.js, Typescript, Redux and MUI, as well as crafting API requests with Axios, and conducting unit testing with Jest and React Testing Library.
- On the backend, I design API interfaces using Nest.js controllers and Typescript, while creating CRUD services for MongoDB interactions through Mongoose.
- In addition to development, I have experience in CI/CD deployment automation with Github Action and containerizing frontend and backend code using Docker, and deploying applications on platforms such as AWS ECS and Vercel.
- My role also involves managing a 15-member team comprising BAs, developers, and DevOps personnel. As a Product Owner, I utilize Jira for ticket delivery and foster collaboration among team members using Git/Github.

As a full stack project, FotoPie provides a dynamic and engaging space for users to share their favorite photos. Users can upload their own photos and subscribe by using Stripe. They can also search for photos using keywords, and even generate unique images using OpenAI models.

My Portfolio
Built the frontend project in Next.js with Typescript and adopted useState to control the rendering of different sections. Styled the website using tailwindcss and added loading animations with Framer Motion. Added responsive design to the website to fit with different screen sizes and deployed the project on Vercel.
